JSC ESM – Subsidiary  “Energetika” The main activity of JSC ESM – Affiliate “Energetika ” is production, distribution and supply of consumers of electric and heat energy as regulated activities, and production, distribution and supply of consumers with technologic steam and feed water as unregulated activities.

The production capacities are located the industry complex ,,Zelezarnica”- Skopje and date since 1967 year. In 1997 Energy Power system of Republic of Macedonia shall undertake, then restructuring of the company in 2005 is part of JSC ELEM.

The power system of JSC ESM – Subsidiary ,,Energetika” has a cogeneration plant, two substations, “Sever” 110/6 kV and “Jug” 110/35/6 kV which are powered by electricity from “Skopje 1” with 2 double circuit transmission lines.

The power system AD ESM – Subsidiary ,,Energetika” serves only the consumers in the industry complex ,,Zelezarnica”, while the conventional heating system serves the users in Zelezarnica and the consumers in the settlements Avtokomanda, Zelezara, Triangla, Madzari and Hipodrom.

Our power facilities work nonstop and are maintained 24 hours a day. During 2016 we produces 1,2 GWh electric energy and distributed total of 216.4 GWh electric energy for the consumers in the industry complex ,, Zelezarnica” (Makstil, Mital, HRM, Mital CRM, Skopski leguri and other).

Our heat capacities work nonstop in the period of heat season and are maintained 24 hours a day. During 2016 we produced and distributed 54.7 GWh heat energy for the end users.

The successful working of the Subsidiary depends on the employees, who are aware of the responsibilities and the challenge, always timely and efficiently to conduct their assignments.

  Planned projects

AD ESM, Subsidiary ,, Energetika’’ with the new investment plans is planning modernization of the affiliate, which means complete reconstruction of all the plants in 110/6 kV „Sever “  and  110/35/6 kV „Jug ‘’. The overhaul will provide new modern system consisted of plants with sophisticated equipment with high level of confidentiality, efficiency and safety, which is essential of the uninterrupted supply with electric energy of the end users.

The continuity of supply is particularly important obligation in the segment of heat energy. In this sphere investment plans include the implementation of new technologies to more efficient production of thermal energy.
